Weather in
southern California can be best described as capricious. January afternoons are
generally warm with a slight chill in the air but when the sun sets, turning
day into night, we, the Californians, are confronted with the desert’s biting
cold.
I find that
because of the drastic change in weather, it is best to wear layers that are
easily portable. This way you can fold your outerwear over your handbag throughout
a “travel intensive” day. In my case, I chose to wear this deliciously luxurious
Burberry Poncho, which can easily and neatly be folded.
As for any
advise in shoes or winter feet styling, I have none. I tend to sacrifice the
warmth of my toes for the statement of my heels. (But I'm sure boots would be
cute as well.)
