Summer Romance Exclusive Preview

It's almost here!! My first collection for Jessica Los Angeles is complete and will be available online June 1, 2013.  Below are some of the pieces from the collection, "Summer Romance." This collection was inspired by the woman in love during summertime. I wanted this collection to look elegant, inspire adventure, and be easily wearable.

This was shot before I cut my hair a few weeks ago. I always thought my waist length hair was really girly and sexy but the upkeep is quite strenuous...So, I may be slightly exaggerating but I will say my new hair cut is a lot easier to maintain and requires a lot less conditioner. Can't wait to show you but for now enjoy one of my last outfits with long hair.

Although you would never know by a picture, I always like to pair an outfit with a fragrance whether it's a body mist or Eau de Parfum . Right now, I am totally loving Balenciaga Florabotanica. I think it's a unique blend of floral and fresh with carnation and mint as some of the top notes. Its last all day for me but it's not too strong. (I prefer fragrances that stay close to the skin.) I must confess I am also a "fragrance addict." I'm curious, what do you wear in the summer? Please comment below. I would love some suggestions!

Vogue Fashion Princess Hot Fierceness

 Lately, I've been getting a lot of questions on how I get such awesome fashion photos and I thought I'd dedicate a whole post in order to give you my expertise. Since I am the greatest fashion blogger of all time, I thought I would bless your day and share a few of my simple tips/tricks with you.

POSING:

I have always said, "Dress how you feel." I also suggest posing how you feel. Get really into character.

REALLY GET INTO IT!!!!

OUTDOOR SHOOTS:

Shoooting outside during a really sunny day can be tricky. As you can see, it is very hard to relax your face and look normal.

See... I'm not really feeling it here either.

So remember to bring your sunglasses with you to wherever you may shoot. This way you can tell the sun, "BRING IT!!!"

WORKING WITH YOUR CREW:

Like in any other professional work situation, you must learn to work with your crew members in a professional manner and since you are the blogger,(the most important voice, I mean, the only voice.) don't be afraid to tell people what is on your mind.

Personally, I like to scream and threaten my photographer for at least 3 minutes before we even start shooting. I believe this inspires a productive work environment.

POSTING PHOTOS:

 I'm a busy fashion blogger, I have a lot of online shopping to do and so will you if you decide to be a world class fashionista like me. Therefore you won't have time fix the lighting on your photos. Let the reader(s) just deal with the bad quality. They'll still love you and your post, regardless of how visually unappealing they are.

Seriously, just upload any dumb photo of your dirty shoes.

If you want more readers, a great trick is to be provocative or scandalous. If you are not willing to get naked then try placing your clutch by your crotch. Bringing more attention to that area of your body will surely bring in more readers. Now all you have to do is post and wait for all of your comments.

But no matter what people say,

 just remember that you are a goddess!!

SPRING 2013

As some of you may know, I've been working really hard preparing my first collection for Jessica Los Angeles. I was lucky enough to get model/actress, Samantha K, to model this free spirited collection, which will be available later this month. I can't tell you how excited I am to finally give you this preview! And, as always, thank again to all my readers and friends for stopping by and for all of your support.

I usually don't wear outfits that are entirely black, white or black and white. In fact, I tend to shy away from those looks, but since black and white is a popular trend this spring I decided to give it a try. I must say I grew quite fond of the look. I hope everyone had a good weekend. I know I did.
