Did you get what you wanted this Christmas? I know I did!

This year I was fortunate enough to be able to visit my loving family in Texas and meet the new family dog. I was also blessed to see my childhood friends again and was pleased to discover that although everything has changed for us, nothing about us has really changed.  

As much as I love Los Angeles, I will always have a special place in my heart for Dallas with its warm southern hospitality, sentimental (and often embarrassing) childhood memories, and fabulous BBQ.

As we get closer to Christmas, I wanted to be more festive and incorporate a shade of red into my wardrobe. This season, my carmine of choice is oxblood, an almost hypnotic and deep marron color. To me, this luxe color is a triple threat. It can add elegance to clothing, individuality to accessories and mystery to lips. This could also just be my excuse for matching my lip color to my stockings for the first time!

I have a suggestion for all my readers...Live it up!

Metallic foiled sweaters have been one of my favorite fall/winter trends for the past two years but I've been hesitant to purchase one up until now. In the past, I found that heavily foiled garments tended to have a certain metallic odor which followed with a really rough hand. Luckily this sweater was neither. No suspicious fragrance and a REALLY soft hand made this sweater a perfect choice for me.


As you can clearly see, I used Skrillex as my hair inspiration and Mr T. as my accessory inspiration. I stand by my choices. :-P

Sweater Knit Maxi

Welcome everyone! 

I'm so excited to present my first blog post on my first ever fashion/beauty blog. For this momentous occasion, I thought I'd take a risk and do a look that is quite simple yet bold to give you a little sneak peek at my fun-loving style. With just a pair of shoes and a simple top knot, I wanted to play with graphics of this dress which followed and shaped itself to the curves of my body.
